The lab is where all of our hands-on activities take place. Over 2000 square feet of room to work with, we're utilizing this space to train in such areas as: air sealing, furnaces, doors and windows, lead safe weatherization, and insulation.
With the addition of Mike Campbell (a licensed plumber and an HVAC guy with over 20 years of experience) we've ramped up our HVAC trainings. A special section of the lab is dedicated to learning the inner-workings of furnaces, boilers, and water heaters.
No training facility would be complete without a classroom. Just adjacent the hands-on lab, this classroom seats 40-50 students comfortably...and up to 70 (not so comfortably). If you sign up for one of our courses, plan to spend at least half of your time in this room.
Whether it is a press conference or simply a need for more space, the assembly hall offers room for 100.
Don't think we've forgotten about the kids. Pull up a mat and help yourself to complementary crayons and Power Bill coloring books. Moms and dads can browse through any of our 16 Power Bill energy-saving pamphlets. Feel free to take some home to your friends and family.
Behind the scenes, we're getting our work done here. As our open-air offices are set in the main entryway for the building, we'd appreciate it if you'd refrain from sitting on the desks.
From time to time, we entertain special requests to bring our show on the road. Look for this black, graphic-wrapped van heading your way soon.
